Crest And Colour

The institute crest symbolises the three services ie the Army, the Navy and the Air Force with the Paragon of the Institute, “Mai BhagoJi” in the background, as if to provide ‘guidance’ and ‘direction’ to the young women at the Institute, for the journey ahead.

Traditionally the colour of jointmanship in the services is Maroon. The colour is derived from a mix of the colours of the Army, the Navy and the Air Force in equal proportion, with the colour of blood to depict sacrifice. Since the institute caters for aspirants for all three services, the colour of the institute is Maroon.
